Michelle Frances is a very lucky woman. She was born into an amazing family. With a distinguished geneticist for a father, an ICU head nurse for a mother and a big sister destined to rule over the educations of small children as an elementary school teacher and literacy guru, how could Michelle be anything but an… artist?
They should have known… the color-changing blue-green eyes (when everyone else in the family had brown eyes), the ‘curl in the middle of her forehead’, the temper tantrum that didn’t quit until she turned seven. They should have known that little Michelle Frances was a bit different.
Once it was established that Michelle was not, in fact, going to be a marine biologist or trauma surgeon the trips to the art museum and the after school drawing lessons began. Michelle has been drawing, painting, sculpting and creating ever since.
Little Michelle grew up, studied costume and set design at the University of Evansville, moved back to Denver, got married to a magician ( ! ), adopted a few pets and started a mural business. Paint is in Michelle’s blood. Whether that is an ‘inborn error’ or great gift is sometimes questionable but…
As I said before, Michelle is a very lucky woman; she gets to paint for a living, she has been blessed with an amazing number of wonderful clients and she lives in a home full to the chimney with magic.
