This portrait was inspired by Renoir’s Girl with Watering Can.  Michelle Frances’ intent was to recreate the masterwork but as a portrait of a client’s daughter, Addison.  Michelle cropped the original composition so as to put more focus of Addison’s face; Renoir did not compose his painting as a portrait but Michelle Frances’ version needed to be.
